Salesforce Administrator

This role includes exposure to and experience in marketing automation as well as a wide range of other marketing technologies.

The Salesforce Administrator will be will be responsible for optimizing our current sales processes & data collection. The candidate must be a self-starter, extremely resilient, and able to multitask. This person will ensure streamlined operating mechanisms that achieve business results, which will contribute to the long-term success of the company. The candidate will work with leadership to help improve performance metrics and sales outcomes. This role includes exposure to and experience in marketing automation as well as a wide range of other marketing technologies.

 

Key Accountabilities 

  • Establish and enforce pipeline management and activity expectations. Responsible for ongoing communication with sales management for pipeline review, accurate pipeline data, identifying areas for pipe movement
  • Expand upon documentation of current sales processes and identify gaps in capturing necessary data to help assess sales teams
  • Point person on Sales and CRM process, lead training and office hour sessions to support customer-facing teams
  • Evaluate and recommend sales efficiency and business management tools
  • Identify data integrity issues and work with the appropriate team members to build out and implement solutions to resolve these issues
  • Collaborate very closely with Finance, representing sales for deal review and partner process
  • Provide reporting around critical sales insights for top of the funnel and pipeline trend, drawing upon marketing funnel insights to create a more holistic funnel picture

Required Education and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, or related field
  • 3 to 5 years of experience in Sales Operations
  • Demonstrated Salesforce.com proficiency
  • Deep understanding of sales process, and proven ability to build positive relationships with sales teams
  • Experience with sales automation, enablement, reporting, and business intelligence tools
  • Project management experience
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Team player, positive, energetic
  • Relentless focus on problem-solving and process improvement
