Technical Project Manager

Job summary:

The Technical Project Manager is responsible for the life cycle of the technical aspects of a project from the initiation stage through to project close. This individual manages the day-to-day operational aspects of a project including scope, issues, risks and resource management. He or she ensures projects are completed on schedule, within budget, and meet all defined requirements and quality measures. Communication with project sponsor and all key stakeholders on a regular basis is essential for this position.

 

Specific responsibilities include:

  • Prepares project plans, which include definition, scope, resources financials and schedule for customers using our genomics platform
  • Assists functional management in determining resource needs for current projects
  • Ensures adequate communication is maintained with all stakeholders regarding project status and priorities
  • Adheres to all IT, HIPPA, HITRUST governance policies and procedures

 

Knowledge, skills and abilities desired:

  • Working knowledge of formal project management methodology
  • Knowledge of the working environment which applies to the scope of projects to be managed (e.g. software development, information technology or business process projects)

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree or international equivalent
  • 5 years relevant experience, project management training
  • Equivalent combination of education, training, and relevant experience may be considered in place of the education and experience stated above. All employees must read, write and speak fluent English and host country language
  • Knowledge of Cloud based infrastructure a plus
  • Experience in the pharmaceutical / life sciences, pharmacovigilance, clinical trial delivery, CRO experience a plus
  • Pharmaceutical validated software, Software Development Lifecycle, Agile software development
