Ping Fang, PhD

Clinical Genetics

Dr. Fang joined the Baylor Medical Genetics Laboratories in 1998 and served as its Co-director and as Associate Professor at Baylor College of Medicine. Her clinical and research activities have been focused on molecular diagnosis of rare diseases, consultation of patients with genetic disorders, population carrier screening, pharmacogenomics and personalised medicine.

Dr. Fang holds a Bachelor of Medicine degree from Beijing Medical University and a PhD in neuroscience from Baylor College of Medicine. She is board certified in clinical molecular genetics by the American Board of Medical Genetics and Genomics, and is a Fellow of American College of Medical Genetics and Genomics.
